The Story of a Concerned Husband
Thursday, August 25, 2011
There was once a man who felt that his wife was having a bit of a hearing problem. Trying to spare her feelings, he secretly decided to meet their family doctor for advice. The doctor suggested that the husband used the easiest and oldest technique to test his wife's problem. That technique would be able to tell the doctor of how bad is the wife's hearing loss.
"You have to stand about 40 feet away from her and have a normal chit chat with her using your normal voice and tone. If she could not hear you, come closer to 30 feet. If she still couldn't hear you, do it at 20 feet and continue until she could hear you."
"Sounds easy," said the man delightfully. So, later that day, when his wife was preparing dinner, he estimated his distance from his wife.
40 feet. Yup, this is about that, he whispered to himself. "What are we having for dinner, honey?" he asked, using the normal voice tone. She didn't answer.
So, he come closer. 30 feet...he estimated carefully. Again, he asked, "What are we having for dinner, honey?" Still no response.
Wow, this is bad, he said to his himself while moving into 20 feet from the wife. Again there was no response.
He continue and became so close to her that he was just standing beside her when he asked. "Honey, what's for dinner?"
His wife turned to him and said,
"For goodness sake, for the seventh time, my dear. I said it is CHICKEN!"
Yes, what do you know? All the while the dear hubby thought that it was his wife who was having the hearing problem. Turned out, it was his ears that needed checking.
It made me ask myself these questions - how many times have I behaved like the hubby? How many times have I blamed someone else without realizing that the problem started from me? How many times do I quickly blame someone else instead of looking into myself to find where are the faults in me? Who are the 'wives' that had to suffer my blaming? Why was I so confident that it wasn't me who was 'deaf'? Why didn't I check my own ears before insisting that my 'wives' check theirs?
I really am truly sorry for the 'wives' out there whom I have thought to be 'deaf' all the while when in fact, it was the other way around.
What about you, dear friends? =.=
Ehem, excuse me. I am talking to you..
Hello? Hello?
Testing, testing, one, two, three...can you hear me?
Oh no...
Wait, is it me or you?
40 feet...
=P

The Story of A Man and His Entrance Fees
Thursday, May 26, 2011
One day, Ibrahim ibn Adham tried to enter a public bath. The bath attendant stopped him and asked for the entrance fees. He hung his head and admitted he had no money.
The attendant replied, "If you have no money, you cannot enter the bath."
Ibrahim ibn Adham cried out and sank to the ground, weeping bitterly. A passerby stopped to comfort him. Someone offered him money so he could get into the public bath.
Ibrahim ibn Adhan said : "I'm not weeping because I was refused entrance to the bath. When the bath attendant demanded an admission fee, I was reminded of something which led me to weep. If I am not allowed to enter the bath in this world unless I pay for the fee, what hope do I have of being allowed to enter Paradise? What will happen to me when then they demand, "What godd deeds have you brought? What have you done worthy of being let into Paradise? Just as I was kept out of the bath because I could not pay, I will surely be kept out of Paradise if I have no good deeds to my credit. That is why I weep and moan."
As they reflected on their own lives and deeds, all his listeners began to cry with Ibrahim ibn Adham.
Astaghfirullah, astaghfirullah, astaghfirullah. T___T
How true are the words told here? As we read this story, we could realized something, my friends. You don't have to be a genius to realize what the plot is, right?
One ticket to Heaven, to our eternal abode, lies with our obedience and sense of duty to our mothers. They are one of the ticket bearers and hold one of our admission tickets to Paradise.
Let me ask you a question. Do you want the tickets to Paradise, my friends?
Do not let your chance go to waste, my brothers and sisters, before our 'ticket bearer' gone forever, we better decide now that we must take the one in a lifetime chance; to service her (our beloved mother) in any and many ways that we can do! Of course, before it will be too late, friends!
If you still have your 'ticket bearer' with you, go to her now. Kiss her hands and make her happy. Stroke her face and say that you love her. Go and fulfill your responsibility so that you may gain entrance to the only place we want to be for eternity. Paradise.
GO!!!! ^.^
Farewell DQ!
Wednesday, May 25, 2011
But, it's a different thing i feel right now. I feel that i really want to shout with my whole energy now "I don't want checkout from this place!!!!!" T___T
This place...had gives me 1001 sweet memories and unforgettable moments in every second when i studied there. The lake, the Mosque, the kuliyyah room, the hostel, the meeting room, the hostel field, the tasmik classes, the friends..........
I stil remember when the first time i reached there, my heart asked myself, "cha, is this a really good decision should you take for your future?"now, i understand that this is a kind of question of one who know nothing yet about this barakah place. That's me, once upon a time..
When the SPM result was released, and most of my friends decided to further their studies overseas, my heart asked me again, "cha, did'nt you feel regret for not taking any scholarship to further your study oversea like them?"that time, i choose to stay in DQ.
In that time, i admit that i did'nt know and understand why i choose that decision. It is easy to say, that i just follow the takdir. Nothing more to be asked.
But now,i know the best answer for it.
One thing for sure, what the strongest thing that made me to choose the decison is...
the UKHUWWAH in DQ.The bond is really incredible for me. And, i know, for my friends too.
Just the people who experienced it, will understand. The Ukhuwwah bond which appears in this journey with Al-quran. SubhanAllah.
This, make me reflect something. If this ukhuwwah, which are made between just the ordinary people like us, had made a very 'incredible',amazing, and flourishing moments in our heart, how about, the ukhuwwah between the Sahabah and The Prophet Muhammad S.A.W? The ukhuwwah strengthen by the last Revelation Words from The Highest God, Allah s.w.t? SubhanAllah, i can't imagine how they feel.
Alhamdulillah..thanks to Allah because He had gives me the opportunity to feel this sweetest feeling. I love Allah. Ya Allah, please forgive me for all the sins i'd done.T__T
Please strengthen my heart to keep mujahadah in tadabbur and memorizing Your aayah..
Please keep our ukhuwwah bond till jannah, Ya Allah..
aamin..
In the Bee and its Honey there is Blessing and a Lesson
Thursday, April 7, 2011
What is meant by inspiration here is guidance. The bee is guided to make its home in the mountains, in trees and in structures erected by man. The bee's home is a solid structure, with its hexagonal shapes and interlocking forms there is no looseness in its combs. Then Allah decrees that the bee will have permission to eat from all fruits and to follow the ways which Allah has made easy for it, wherever it wants to go in the vast spaces of the wilderness, valleys and high mountains. Then each bee comes back to its hive without swerving to the right or left, it comes straight back to its home where its offspring and honey are. It makes wax from its wings, and regurgitates honey from its mouth, and lays eggs from its rear, then the next morning it goes out to the fields again.
(and follow the routes of your Lord made easy (for you)) Qatadah and `Abdur-Rahman bin Zayd bin Aslam said: "This means, in an obedient way'', understanding it to be a description of the route of migration. IbnZayd said that this is like the Ayah:
[وَذَلَّلْنَـهَا لَهُمْ فَمِنْهَا رَكُوبُهُمْ وَمِنْهَا يَأْكُلُونَ ]
(And We have subdued them for them so that some they may ride and some they may eat.) (36:72) He said: "Do you not see that they move the bees' home from one land to another, and the bees follow them'' The first opinion is clearly the more likely, as it describes the routes that the bees follow, i.e., `follow these routes as they are easy for you.' This was stated by Mujahid. IbnJarir said that both opinions are correct.
(There comes forth from their bellies, a drink of varying colors, wherein is healing for men.) [meaning, honey, that is] white, yellow, red, or of other good colors, depending on the different things that the bees eat.
(in which there is a cure for men.) meaning there is a cure in honey for diseases that people suffer from. Some of those who spoke about the study of Prophetic medicine said that if [Allah] had said, `in which there is the cure for men', then it would be the remedy for all diseases, but He said, `in which there is a cure for men', meaning that it is the right treatment for every "cold'' disease, because it is "hot'', and a disease should be treated with its opposite. Al-Bukhari and Muslim recorded in their Sahihs from Qatadah from Abu Al-Mutawakkil `Ali bin Dawud An-Naji from Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri that a man came to the Messenger of Allah and said, "My brother is suffering from diarrhea''. He said,
«اسْقِهِ عَسَلًا»
(Give him honey to drink.) The man went and gave him honey, then he came back and said, "O Messenger of Allah! I gave him honey to drink, and he only got worse.'' The Prophet said,
«اذْهَبْ فَاسْقِهِ عَسَلًا»
(Go and give him honey to drink.) So he went and gave him honey, then he came back and said, "O Messenger of Allah! it only made him worse. '' The Prophet said,
«صَدَقَ اللهُ وَكَذَبَ بَطْنُ أَخِيكَ، اذْهَبْ فَاسْقِهِ عَسَلًا»
(Allah speaks the truth and your brother's stomach is lying. Go and give him honey to drink.) So he went and gave him honey, and he recovered.'' It is reported in the Two Sahihs from `A'ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, that the Messenger of Allah used to like sweet things and honey. This is the wording of Al-Bukhari, who also reported in his Sahih from Ibn `Abbas that the Messenger of Allah said:
«الشِّفَاءُ فِي ثَلَاثَةٍ: فِي شَرْطَةِ مِحْجَمٍ، أَوْ شَرْبَةِ عَسَلٍ، أَوْ كَيَّةٍ بِنَارٍ، وَأَنْهَى أُمَّتِي عَنِ الْكَي»
(Healing is to be found in three things: the cut made by the cupper, or drinking honey, or in branding with fire (cauterizing), but I have forbidden my Ummah to use branding.)
(There is indeed a sign in that for people who reflect.) meaning in the fact that Allah inspires this weak little creature to travel through the vast fields and feed from every kind of fruit, then gather it for wax and honey, which are some of the best things, in this is a sign for people who think about the might and power of the bee's Creator Who causes all of this to happen. From this they learn that He is the Initiator, the All-Powerful, the All-Wise, the All-Knowing, the Most Generous, the Most Merciful.
(70. And Allah created you and then He will cause you to die; and among you there are some who are sent back to senility, so that they know nothing after having known (much). Truly, Allah is Knowing, capable of all things.)
My Piece of Hopes
Bismillahhhirrahmannirrahim.
Alhamdulillah. Last night, I arrived at Seremban at about a quarter past eleven and the train station, of course was quite placid. Thanks to Allah because my very reliable friend, Azlina disposed to escort me. It was an emergency. I had to go back home because my father will have a medical operation this week. So, I must have a run into him first before he enters the surgery ward. Please pray for my father.
When I reached home, as usual the first thing I will do is 'spring-cleaning' my room. Of course, when we out of home and our room have a big possibility to be entered by the 'small monstersss' (actually my small brothers =.=' ), don't be so optimist that your room will be in the same and in a good condition as it does when you leave it. And here, I want to shortcut the cleaning scene. When I rearranged my old books and my old paraphernalia of my school epoch, by chance I found my 'Blue Diary'; the WITNESS of all my destitutions in through my life in the school. T__T
And when I recited the book, I realise that all this while, I am a kind of person that love to jot down whatever that was up-to-the-minute around me and whatever I was thinking about in the book. Then, I paused at a page of 'my feeling' and got traumatized when I read this:
"Bismillahhirrahmannirrahim.
Beri kekuatan padaku yaRahman.
Pulihkan semangatkuYa Allah.Bimbinglah aku.Aku ingin berada di jalanMu. Ihdinassirotolmustaqim.
14 April 2009. Musolla.
End of page.
When I read this, I remember all the sufferings and distress i was fronting on that time. T__T
That is my piece of hopes when I was learning in the school. When so many scrapes came, and my friends impugned me, I feel alone in that jiffy. It was just one thing that I can do in that phase. JUST PRAY TO ALLAH.
To all my old school chums, thanks a lot, because you all had taught me what the true meaning of this life existence is.
Love you all. Because of Allah.
Dreams in Islam Perspective
Dreams do have substance in Islam. It has been recorded in the Tradition of The Prophet Muhammad s.a.w that he used to ask his Companions after the Fajr Prayer – early Morning Prayer, whether anyone of them had any dreams, and he would interpret them. The Prophet s.a.w is also reported to have said that dreams are 1/60 of revelation.
The Quran in Surah Yusuf makes mention of the dreams of both the Prophet Yusuf (Joseph) and the king. The Quranic word ru'yaa has been invariably translated as vision or dream. This incident in the Quran proves that dreams do have substance and meaning in life.
One of the reasons why dreams have substance in Islam is simply due to the fact that man is made up of both body and soul, and since his soul originated from heaven, man continues to possess a link even as he lives his life out on earth. Dreams as such are an indication of one's state in this world and in the hereafter.
Narrated Abu Razinr.a. : The Prophet s.a.w said : "The vision (dream) flutters over a man as long as it is not interrupted, but when it is interrupted, it settles." And I think he said : "Tell it only to one who loves (i.e. friend) or one who has judgement." (Abu Daud)
Abu Musa r.a.reports : "The Holy Prophet s.a.w said : "I saw in sleep that I was about to migrate from Mecca to a land abounding in palm-trees and I guessed that it would be Yamamah or Hajar, but it as Medina, and I saw in this dream of mine that I was brandishing a sword and its upper end was broken and this is what fell in the form of misfortune to the believers on the Day of Uhud. I brandished it (the sword) for the second time and it became all right and this is what came to be true when Allah granted us victory and solidarity of the believers. And I saw therein cows also and Allah is the Doer of good. These meant the group from amongst the believers on the Day of Uhud and the goodness which Allah brought after that and the reward of attestation of his Truth which Allah had brought to us after the Day of Badr." (Bukhari)
Abu Hurairahr.a.reported : "The Holy Prophet s.a.w. said "When the time draws near (the Resurrection) a believer's dream can hardly be false. And the truest vision will be of one who is himself the most truthful in speech, for the vision of a Muslim is the forty-fifth part of Prophecy, and dreams are of three types : one good dream which in a sort of good tidings from Allah; the evil dream which causes pain is from Satan; and the third one is a suggestion of one's own mind; so if any one of you sees a dream which he does not like, he should stand up and offer prayer and he should not relate it to people, and he said : "I would love to see fetters is (in the dream), but I dislike wearing of necklace, for the fetters is ( an indication of) one's steadfastness in religion." The narrator said : "I do not know whether this is a part of the hadith or the ords of IbnSirin." (Bukhari)
Dreams can be generally categorised into three sections. The first of these is Good Dreams or Good Visions (Ru'yaa). The second is Bad Dreams (Hulum) and the third is Dreams of One's Self. Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. said, "There are three types of dreams: a righteous dream which is glad tidings from Allah; the dream which causes sadness is from Satan; and a dream from the ramblings of the mind." (Sahih Muslim)
The Noble Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. said that true dreams are from Allah and bad dreams are from Satan – SahihBukhari. According to the Prophet, a person to enjoy true dreams he has to be truthful in speech. This means that a person should not lie or spread slander or create mischief. Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. said, "If anyone of you has a dream that he likes, then it is from Allah. He should thank Allah for it and narrate it to others." (SahihBukhari)
Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. said, "Indeed the worst of lies is that of a person who falsely claims to have a dream." (SahihBukhari)
While is quite all right to share one's dream with the others, the Prophet has advised us to only reveal it to those whom we like. Presumably tis can be related to jealousy or ill will from those who would not like to see us prosper. Revelation in the Quran states that Ya'kubsaid :
'o my son! Relate not your vision to your brothers lest they arrange a plot against you. Verily! Satan is to man an open enemy.' (Surah Yusuf 12:5)
Scholars have interpreted this dream to represent his brothers in the form of eleven stars, while the sun and the moon to be that of his mother and father. The conclusion of Yusuf's life shows us that his brothers in the end submitted themselves to him, because by then Yusuf had not only become a Prophet of Allah but he as also placed in charged on managing Fir'aun (Pharaoh) 's resources. The Prophet s.a.w. also said, "Nothing is left of Prophet hood except glad tidings." Those with him asked, "What are glad tidings?" He replied, "Good dreams." (SahihBukhari)
Abu Hurairahr.a.reported : 'Allah's Messenger s.a.w. said, : "He who saw me in a dream in fact saw me, for Satan does not appear in my form." (Bukhari)
So, what kind of dreams have you dream of?? ^,^
One Key of Success ; High Level of Tawakkal
Monday, December 20, 2010
In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious , The Most Merciful.
"miracles!", "just an accident" , "if i didn't do that, this will not happen"..when something which we are not expected it to happen, was really happen, these are some common words that will fluently flow out from our own mouth, either we realize it or not (or in some cases, between them). Astaghfirullah Al-zim, we seek for your forgiveness O Allah, The All-Great.
Everything that happened in our life is not just happen for no purpose at all. Either the thing make you feel badly hurt or delight, there is something that Allah wants us to learn from it. Are you believe it? Can't accept 'NO' answer!!
And you want to know something (or actually i just want to remind you and me)? When you put your whole heart and whole tawakkal to Allah, 'miracles'(this is most will say) will happen just in a blink! I had experienced this for several times (actually i must have it for every second in my heart =.= astaghfirullah). When the exam weeks come, like usual, i will have some bad thinking in my mind. 'oh, i will fail!!', 'how can i answer the questions?! i don't have sufficient time to revise all the subject! i'm finished!' =.= (don't be like this please).
But, suddenly it's just like a good voice from my heart said, 'why you are so dizzy about the thing that is not happen yet? Why don't you just put your tawakkal to Allah, The Creator of you. Everything in this world is His creation. The success come from Him. It is do not come from the mua'lim who draft your question, the books that you read, the answer that you write, the Mumtahin who tasmi' your hafazan. It is definitely not from them! It comes from Allah. If He permit it to happen, it will happen and vice versa. If He wants to gives us the chance to grab the success, He will gives it to us. This law will be unchanged.'
As a matter of fact, it is so simple to extend our logic thinking like that, right? When i exchange my bad thought to a fine one, it heals my vacillation. Although there is many chapter i don't revise yet, but as long as i had try my best to achieve the success, and as long as i had strain my best for it, Allah will help me. That is how i made a new hypothesis in my cerebration input.
And lastly, the output is very astonished me! and unexpected too. Alhamdulillah. All praises is just to Allah. I can feel He helped me and give the ease for me to make it. Allah is the best helper. I guarantee that and i am very sure that you believe it too.
In deduction, The very most important thing we must always get update in our heart is our NIAT. We must look into it all the time, because it is easily be at variance. Let us devote all of our daily activity is just to Him, that will change the level of the work we do to IBADAH. That is the true purpose of our creation in this mirage world. That is to worship Him. May Allah keeps us in His Guidance of Iman and Islam. Wallahu taa'la a'lam. Allah knows the best.
Shift your life to a better one..

Appreciate all the people around you, you will be appreciated.
Insya ALLAH. God willing.
